Core Values in Supporting Group Practice Owners: A Commitment to Your Success
As I reflect on my journey and the support I offer to group practice owners across Canada, I recently found myself asking: Why do I do this? What do I stand for? While I’ve always been clear on my core values for my group practice, Panorama, I realized I hadn’t fully articulated them here, in this space where I support you as a group practice owner.
I’ve worked with these values for years, but narrowing them down to just five was a challenge—a healthy one. It made me reflect deeply on how I show up for you and the kind of impact I want to have on your practice. I wanted to share these core values with you so you know exactly what drives me and how it shapes the work we do together.
1. Authenticity
Authenticity is at the heart of everything I do. I believe in showing up as my true self, whether I’m interacting with you one-on-one, in a group, or through an email. What you see is what you get, and you can always expect transparency and honesty in our communication.
Right now, as part of that authenticity, I’m in the process of transitioning from the name Your Practice Your Way to Group Practice Network. It’s a gradual change, but I believe this new name better represents the community I’m working to build—a network where group practice owners like you can find support and resources to grow.
2. Leadership
As a group practice owner, you’re not just running a business—you’re leading it. Leadership is more than just being in charge; it’s about being the one to steer the ship, to make decisions, and to chart the course for your business, your team, and the clients you serve.
I’m passionate about helping you develop strong leadership skills so you can confidently navigate the challenges that come with owning a group practice. You deserve to feel empowered as a leader, not overwhelmed by the demands of your business.
3. Systems
If you’ve worked with me before, you know that I love systems. While I may not always have everything perfectly in place, I firmly believe that having clear processes and systems in your business is essential for long-term success. They help reduce stress, improve efficiency, and provide consistency for your team and clients.
I’m here to help you build systems in your practice that work for you—whether it’s a client intake process, a scheduling system, or managing your finances. With systems in place, you’ll be able to focus on what truly matters: leading your practice and serving your clients.
4. Community
Running a group practice can sometimes feel isolating, but it doesn’t have to be. One of my core values is building a sense of community where group practice owners can connect, share, and support one another. You are not alone in this journey, and having a strong community around you can make all the difference.
Whether it’s through shared resources, networking, or simply knowing that others are going through the same challenges, community provides the connection and encouragement needed to thrive in business.
5. Freedom
At the end of the day, the goal for any business should be freedom. The freedom to set your own schedule, to choose the direction of your practice, and most importantly, to create a business that enhances your personal life rather than limiting it.
I want to help you build a practice that gives you the freedom to live the life you desire—whether that means more time with family, more travel, or simply the ability to step away from the business when you need a break. Freedom in your business translates to freedom in your personal life.
I hope that these core values resonate with you and reflect what you’ve experienced in our work together. As we continue this journey, my commitment to authenticity, leadership, systems, community, and freedom will guide how I support you and your group practice.
If you have any questions about these values or want to dive deeper into any of them, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to support you in building the practice—and life—you envision.
